ABOUT THE PUBLISHING

The history of The Philippine Academician (PHIL-CAD) traces its roots to the year 2023 when a group of passionate academic writers, and professionals came together with a shared vision of creating a platform to promote and celebrate scholarly and creative endeavors across the Philippines. Recognizing the need for a space where professionals from diverse backgrounds could share their expertise and insights; the idea for PHIL-CAD was born and owned by Dr. Minsoware S. Bacolod.

The PHIL-CAD is a dynamic publisher at the forefront of educational discourse, established on the month of January, 2024. Dedicated to the field of education, The PHIL-CAD Magazine serves as a vital platform for educators, professionals, and anyone who are passionate about writing and publication of creative works.

In February 2024, when a new chapter began in the world of publishing industry with the establishment of PHIL-CAD ACADEMICIAN PUBLISHING founded by Dr. Minsoware S. Bacolod. The publishing company is a registered at Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), ensuring its legal standing and commitment to ethical business practices. Additionally, it obtained the Certificate of Registration from the National Book Development Board (NBDB), solidifying its position within the publishing industry and affirming its dedication to upholding industry standards.

As Phil-CAD Academician Publishing looks to the future, its vision remains clear to be a catalyst for positive change in the scholarly publishing landscape and empowered authors-writers to bring their skills, be heard, and reach a locally and global.

DR. MINSOWARE S. BACOLOD

Founder

Dr. Minsoware S. Bacolod graduated from Emilio Aguinaldo College-Cavite in 2008 with a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in History. At Philippine Christian University, he earned his Master of Arts in Education specialize in Educational Administration in 2021 and his Doctor of Education specialize in Educational Management in 2023. Currently, he is also pursuing his Post-Doctoral Studies in Strategic Management and Leadership at the same institution.

Following his graduation in 2008, Dr. Bacolod embarked on his teaching career as an Araling Panlipunan, at Immaculate Conception Academy. During his tenure, he also served as the West Campus Student Government adviser, showcasing his dedication to nurturing and guiding students beyond the classroom. Afterward, he joined Fiat Lux Academe, where he served as a faculty member of Junior High School and Senior High School MAPEH teacher, club adviser, and subject coordinator from 2010 to 2018.

His exceptional performance and unwavering commitment to his profession earned him recognition as an "Outstanding Teacher". Throughout his career, Dr. Bacolod has held positions as a part-time instructor at Philippine Christian University and PNTC Colleges in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

Currently, he serves as a Full-time Assistant Professor 4, Social Sciences Cluster Head, Nationalian Coordinator, and an Internal Quality Auditor Team of NU Philippines, National University- Mall of Asia in Pasay City. In this capacity, he imparts his vast knowledge and expertise by teaching a variety of Social Sciences courses. Additionally, Dr. Bacolod is a published and registered author-writer at the National Book Development Board of the Philippines and various publishing industry platforms, further contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and his expertise.
